THE IMPORTANCE OF GETTING KNOWLEGDE

English Speech 

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ 

Excellency all of the juries of English speech contest

Honorable all of the committee of English speech contest

Respectable all the audience

Firstly, let’s thank and pray to Allah SWT who has given us some mercies and blessing so, We can attend and gather in this good condition and happy situation.

Secondly, my peace and salutation always be given to our Prophet Muhammad SAW, who has guided us from the darkness, to the lightness, namely Islam.

Thirdly, I don’t forget to say thank you to the MC (master of ceremony) who has given me time to deliver my speech under the title:

“THE IMPORTANCE OF GETTING KNOWLEGDE”

Ladies and gentlemen.

There are many people success because of science and knowledge, it means not only science but also religion, both of them are really needed in our life. Such as, We can read because we have science, we can sing because we have science, we can read Holly Qur’an because of science, we can operate computer because of science, we can fly because we have science and there are many other example of the importance having science and knowledge,  So as human being we are instructed to get science and knowledge. Unless we will be disappointed tomorrow.

Happy audience

Getting knowledge is very important, whenever and wherever. Formal or informal way, We must get science and knowledge as far as and as much as possible, without thinking about the charge, the place and the age. If we have chances to get it, we do it well. If we want we can. Like Al Hadist ;

إِنَّمَا اْلأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ  

It means that, everything we do, based on the intend.

So we can take the conclusion, our intend can determine our success in getting knowledge. Don’t think about the education charge, because now there are many scholarship for us who wants to continue studying, provided that we have a good mind, discipline and smart. 

Ladies and gentlemen

By having science and knowledge, we know that someone who has science and knowledge is different. Like Alloh said in Holly Qur’an : (Az Zumar: 9)

 قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿٩﴾

It means that : "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition.

Happy audience

Based on the theorem in Al Qur’an, it is very important for us having science and knowledge. Don’t think how old we are, how much money we have, how far is the school, it doesn’t matter. Get knowledge if we still have chance. There is a good statement “ we won’t be poor if we have knowledge” . But when we have science and knowledge , don’t forget to share with other. Because it will come the successful for us here and here after, like in Al-Hadist;

بَلِّغُوا عَنِّى وَلَوْ آيَةً

It means that ;   Say  to others although it is only one.

Ladies and gentlemen

As young generation, let’s study hard, let’s get knowledge as much as possible, because we are as the youngsters to will handle and bring our country better and better, don’t be lazy, don’t live in luxurious, don’t drug, because our time is very important in future. If want want,  we do and we can.....
